Client Services Engineer / Client Systems Support Engineer, Windows Servers, MS Exchange Servers, AD, LAN / WAN, Central London, £35-45,000.

Key Skills:

- 3+ years systems support and customer focused technical support experience.

- Proven experience supporting external customers.

- Good commercial Windows Server 2003-2008 experience.

- Good Active Directory and Group Policy Management experience.

- Strong commercial MS Exchange Server 2003-2010 experience.

- Experience with Networking, LAN / WAN

- Working knowledge of some from; BES, SQL Server, Disaster Recovery Replication, Cisco, VMWare, SAN (AMC, NetAPP, Equallogic)

- Must be eligible to work in the UK.


Nice to Have (optional):

- Financial Services industry experience (e.g. Asset Management, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, FOF).

- Knowledge of market data applications, such as Bloomberg, Thomson, Reuters or Advent etc.

- Relevant degree or equivalent level of experience.

- Certifications e.g. MCSE, MCSA or CCNA.


About the Role:

As a Client Services Engineer / Client Systems Support Engineer ( Windows Servers, MS Exchange Servers, AD ) your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting Windows Servers and MS Exchange Servers.

- Answering questions or resolving computer problems for external customers in person, via telephone, or from remote location.

- Providing LAN / WAN connectivity, networking, firewalls and security solutions.

- Maintaining systems, install new units, and make modifications to the network system as required.

- Maintaining e-mail systems and adding users.
