Orchard is recruiting a Digital Content Manager for a market leading business based in Manchester. The business is currently going through an exciting period of growth and is investing significantly in their eCommerce and digital operation.
The organisation are due to launch a new transactional web site and have created this role as they now require someone to manage the development of web content across multiple digital platforms.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing the organisations digital content strategy. In addition, you will consistently review and develop this strategy as to ensure the organisation continues to be a market leader within its sector. You will work closely with the eCommerce Manager and Digital Manager as to ensure the digital content strategy is seamlessly aligned to the organisations overarching eCommerce strategy.
As Digital Content Manager you will be responsible for consistently reviewing the web site through optimising landing pages, conducting A/B tests and consistently reviewing all web site copy. You will have sole responsibility over the content management system and will work strategically with the Head of eCommerce to plan future customisation and upgrades of the platform to support the business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a depth of experience in delivering a digital content strategy across a transactional eCommerce web site. You will also be experienced in working across a wide range of platforms including mobile apps, mobile web sites and social media. Ideally you will have experience working across a range of departments and have excellent communication skills. In addition, strong copy writing skills are essential for this role, as you will be required to create engaging copy for a range of digital platforms.
