Waiter/Waitress - Food & Beverage Department
Responsible to – Food & Beverage Manager, Food & Beverage Assistant Manager and Food & Beverage Training Manager
Overall aim of the job
- To work as a team member to provide polite & efficient service at all times, maintaining professionalism and exceptional standards of service, with overall excellent customer care.
Statutory Requirements:
- Follow food hygiene regulations – food hygiene training will be provided
- Follow fire regulations and attend the annual fire drill
- Follow health and safety regulations
Operational responsibilities:
- To operate in a manner which focuses on teamwork, consistent quality and standards
- To ensure members satisfaction at all times
- To ensure minimum waste and good use of equipment
- To have the knowledge of various menu items
- To be able to adapt and be versatile to the various roles within waiter/waitress position,Taking orders ,Operating the bar areas ,Table clearing/food running,Pool clearing, Assisting Wash up if required.
- To follow reasonable instruction from the Supervisor/Team Leader on duty
Attitude:
- The waiter/waitress must display maturity, remain organised, calm, approachable and they must also practice outstanding customers service.
General responsibilities:
- To maintain a high level of dress and appearance at all times adhering to company guidelines
- To attend any meetings and training sessions as requested
