The primary purpose of the BDM role is to secure new business across GradWeb's target clients by leveraging Candidate Attraction, Assessment & Development, Resourcing and Technical solutions. As part of the Business Development team you will drive a targeted approach for the development of new business opportunities.

The role will require you to be a motivated self-starter along with strong listening and presentation skills. You will need a strong intellect, high levels of integrity combined with exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written.
While based out of our new headquarters in Newbury, the role will involve travel across the UK and will offer a blend of office and home working.

- Maximising revenue and ensuring growth in line with GradWeb's revenue and profitability targets
- Promoting GradWeb's brand, products, services and solutions to prospective clients via telephone, meetings, networking events and other channels
- Building long-term relationships with contacts within defined target organisations and maintaining relationships with prospective clients ensuring that revenue is maximised from speculative opportunities over time
- Analysing the market and ensuring that GradWeb responds to market trends or demands as quickly as possible
- Crafting proposals, presentations, bids and tender responses
- Managing and reporting on the business development pipeline

- Proven track record in consultative, solutions sales delivery ideally gained within a Technology/RPO or similar fast paced service sector environment
- A strong track record of winning new business
- Experience of working at a senior level with clients
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish credibility quickly with clients in various sectors
- Solid background in prospecting, qualifying leads and converting into new business opportunities
- Ability to maintain, evaluate and apply CRM to generate new business
- Provide accurate timely new business forecasts
