Business Area

Risk Technology (Credit Risk and Market Risk) within the Functions Technology supports the Risk Business, providing solutions to manage capital and risks arising from creditworthiness of clients and trading partners.

The role is for Lead Build Manager/Engineer, a new role within the Credit Risk IT Team (Application Design and Delivery).

The Lead is responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of a department wide standardised development build and deployment methodology. The Build Automation Engineer will be responsible for:

• Creating and maintaining best practices, knowledge bases, reference implementations for:
• Continuous Build
• Continuous Integration
• Continuous Test
• Continuous Deploy
• Code Quality and other Metric Generation

Key Skills & Attributes

Expertise in configuring associated tools for .NET eg MSBuild, TeamCity (knowledge of the TeamCity API is desirable), NuGet, SonarQube

• Proven and solid development and automation experience

Track record of successful delivery

A flexible and positive attitude is needed

Demonstrates initiative and be capable of assuming responsibility

Demonstrates team-working and ability to influence decision making and implementation

Track record of learning new technologies quickly
