Network heavy with a large focus on Cisco & Linux is desirable
Role purpose
To ensure the smooth running of our clients networks, Servers and services
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor all network equipment, Servers and services within all our clients network environments
- Respond to network and server issues in a timely manner
- Specify, build and install Servers and network equipment required for the delivery of our clients services
- Supply and support of internal desktop PCs and laptops, running a mixture of Windows and Linux
- Ensure system documentation is up to date
- Maintain good knowledge of current IT trends in relevant technologies
Essential skills
- Good, in-depth knowledge of networking protocols
- Good, in-depth knowledge of Linux systems
- Good knowledge of network security and Firewalls
- Cisco CCNA qualified
- At least 2 year's hands-on experience with large networks
- Enthusiastic, versatile and self-motivated
Desirable
- Some exposure to AWS technology
- An understanding of PCI-DSS Security Standards
- A full clean driver's license
