Full-custom Digital Design Engineer - Working from home - UK
This is a unique opportunity for a Full-custom Digital Design Engineer to work remotely on a permanent basis for a small but growing company working on Microprocessor IP technology.
This role entails the specification, schematic design, layout and verification of low-power data-path components such as multipliers, dividers and other arithmetic components. This role will involve investigating lower power alternatives to static CMOS, so is particularly appropriate for a Full-custom Design Engineer who is creative and likes to try out novel ideas. This role will involve working on a variety of low-power CMOS processes, from 0.18um to 28nm.
You will be able to work from home full time, but are required to be resident in the UK.
Required:
*A number of years' relevant digital IC design experience
*Strong full custom / transistor level design knowledge
Detailed knowledge in all aspects of the ASIC design flow and EDA tools, with ability to take a block from specification to GDSII independently.
This position would suit someone who is highly independent engineer who has the ability to work remotely and deliver successful results. You will be able to show strong initiative, have the ability to add to design ideas with strong problem solving skills.
