This independent homeless charity are seeking a dynamic Business Director who has a proven track record in managing all aspects of business activities, including human resource management, with a working knowledge of contract management and acquisition.
The successful candidate will work to ensure that they continually improve what they provide to their service users. You will have a track record of effective leadership within a complex organisation, will have experience of forging productive relationships with multiple stakeholders and be able to demonstrate excellent commercial and financial acumen. You must also have outstanding communication and leadership skills with a demonstrable track record of achievement through your own hard work and commitment.
You will have extensive knowledge of business process management, information management and reporting systems. You should possess and be able to demonstrate excellent IT knowledge, skill and management of computer systems. The chosen candidate will be assisting with the shaping of their 3 year business plan and be capable of facilitating the changes they envisage with their partners. Solid people management with HR management skills are essential.
The successful candidate must be able to hold empathy with those who are homeless and in housing need as they will have contact with the client group in the course of their work.
Having worked in the charitable sector would be advantageous but is not essential. This is a full time posts (38 hours) with an annual salary of £30,000, a contributory pension and a Health Plan when confirmed in post, with 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.
