Costing and Modelling Lead Analyst
Livingstone House, Leeds
Salary £32,901- £39,000 per annum depending on experience + pension + quarterly performance related bonus + 25 days annual leave
THE ROLE
As a Costing and Modelling Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and ensuring appropriate deployment of a suit of statistically based models covering: Capital Costs, Carbon Footprint, Operating Costs, Asset lives, On cost, Durations and S curves.
Your other responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring that a sense of reality is embedded into the investment process to make certain that the best possible assets are acquired at the right time and at an appropriate cost.
• Contributing to systems development to ensure that corporate systems continue to be aligned with developing capital investment requirements.
• Influencing the modelling approach, statistical methodology and mathematics.
SKILLS REQUIRED
• Technically qualified in an engineering / scientific discipline with significant post qualification experience in a water industry environment.
• Competent in civil, mechanical and electrical engineering and also be competent in mathematical modelling / statistical analysis / strong mathematical foundation.
• A good working knowledge of the UK Water Industry regulatory regime and be able to demonstrable financial & commercial acumen.
• Ideally you will be competent in basic biology and chemistry and will have an understanding of treatment processes – selection and design.
• An understanding of electronics and control systems engineering would also be an advantage.
• A full valid EU Driving licence is required for this role as you will be required to travel between sites.
