WebSphere Commerce Lead Solution Architect (Director Level) - London, six figure salary

Executive to join our practice in London. This person would partner with our executives in order to utilize and expand IBM WebSphere Commerce current technology capabilities into the European market. Understanding digital marketing capabilities and the IBM Smarter Commerce platform are two of the ways this person will help build our growing business worldwide. We are looking for a blend of Solution Architecture, Account Leadership, and Business Development experience.
Solution Architect:
The Solution Architect is a multi-leveled position: the Subject Matter Expert, advocating and showcasing deep product experience; the Trusted Advisor to clients and developing deep relationships that result in creating annuity accounts for the agency; a Leader of a top-notch team of developers, business analysts, solution managers, testers who create state- of-the-art technical solutions that make all the difference to a client*s bottom-line. The most rewarding experience, of course, is the ability to wade through the landscape of client IT setup, infrastructure and technologies, crack the puzzle to solve a technical problem, and lastly, receiving accolades from the client by delivering quality solutions. You must have direct experience working with WebSphere Commerce Suite.
eCommerce Architects will participate in the execution of the client's business requirements into specific system, application or process in the B2B and B2C environments. They will work as a team member with client personnel to identify functional requirements and ultimately, plan and implement the WebSphere Commerce solutions.

- Lead a team of direct and indirect reports
Skills:
- Excellent leadership, organization, negotiation, multitasking, and motivational skills, as well as creative sensibility
- High energy and proven motivation skill set
- Must be passionate about quickly evolving digital environment
- Ability to expertly guide and manage multiple teams to effectively and efficiently deliver client delight.
The Account Leader responsible for driving material client business impact and in so doing, revenue with existing clients and to identify, pitch and win new Clients. This person will play the role of client relationship leader, helping to conceive and align the Client Service Team around delivering the promise of making the Clients' brand personally relevant across touch point and over time.
Business Development:
A keen focus on identifying client business challenges and translating them into opportunities to sell our eCommerce solutions:
- Identify and cultivate new revenue opportunities with existing clients as well as new business
- Work with Business Development and the Pitch Team to prepare and deliver new business pitches and proposals
- Provide strategic direction for new business pitches (assumes excellent written and oral communication skills)
Skills:
- Experience managing client relationships from initial pitch, through transition/onboarding, onto long-term engagements of ongoing strategic management and leadership
