Due to massive growth my client a leading name with the financial service world are currently recruiting multiple Test Analyst to be based within the Cheltenham office.
The purpose of this role is to provide System, Integration, User Acceptance and Non Functional Testing for all applications delivered and supported by FS Information Systems and External suppliers, for all Clients.
The function of this role is to deliver testing, following the agreed standards, processes and procedures that exist within FS Information Systems. Also to offer coaching, training and support to the Test Analysts and to deputise for the Test Manager as and when required
Accountabilities & Deliverables
Work with the UK configuration team to request/manage environments required for testing phases.
Prepare and/or have input into the preparation and 'sign off' of the Test Strategy
To understand the system and business specifications to ensure that full test coverage of the requirements are achieved
Prepare and/or Contribute to the test entry and exit criteria
Plan test phases and provide accurate test estimates
Support the Test Analysts
Produce test inventories, test scripts and test data.
Execute test scripts and record test results
Analyse test results and liaise with analysts and developers where issues arise
Follow the agreed defect management process
Prepare and/or contribute to documentation 'sign off'
Deputise for the Test Team Leader/Test Manager as and when required
Support the Business Operations as and when required
Monitor that test standards and procedures are adhered to
Deliver work in line with agreed budgetary constraints and timescales, ensuring awareness of deadlines and priorities
Participate in reviews with other team members as required
Provide progress updates within the agreed reporting schedule
Assist developers with high volumes/specialised testing during the development phase
