Required:
A strong Microsoft Dynamics Practice Manager with solid experience of the Microsoft technology stack, Microsoft Dynamics 2013, MS SharePoint 2010, Workflow Technologies and Agile.
The Role:
The Dynamics Practice Manager has overall responsibility for establishing, developing & supporting the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Platform within the organisation.
The Practice Manager will be responsible for the full life cycle platform implementation including the development and delivery of a Dynamics strategy and programme roadmap that covers technical and prioritised business projects.
The Practice Manager will create and lead a dedicated team capable of evolving, developing and supporting the platform and working effectively with the business, associated technical teams and where appropriate approved partners.
Responsibilities:
- To manage the development of an in-house Dynamics centre of excellence and technical community
- To develop and deliver the prioritised Dynamics (business) programme
- To develop and deliver the prioritised Dynamics technical roadmap.
- To be primary technical consultant and customer interface for Dynamics requirements
- To implement and manage a dedicated team that develops on and supports the platform
- Providing technical consultancy and direction relating to the Dynamics platform specifically, and in relation to other Microsoft technologies (such as SharePoint, Yammer, Office 365, Azure & Outlook) and third-party products relating the Dynamics platform
- Act as a champion for the Dynamics platform
- Foster an environment of collaboration, motivating staff to share ideas, information, experience, definition and reuse of components and processes and engendering cross-discipline communication and interaction
- To provide leadership on development projects and have supervisory responsibilities in delegating work to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Ensure the quality of code is met through the use of unit, integration and acceptance testing and perform appropriate tuning/refactoring to ensure the system performs to its specification
- Maintain close relationships within the IT department where dependencies for deliveries exist
- Represent the company in attending Dynamics related technology events, trade fairs etc.
- Interface to third party suppliers/partners and consultants.
- Pro-actively seek opportunities within the Corporation to improve and enhance the efficiency of the organisation through innovative and improved approaches to software development
Required Experience:
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 2013 (& 2015 preferable)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 (& 2013 preferable)
- Workflow technologies
- On premise and cloud (Office 365) experience
- Corporate environment/structured governance
- Agile based delivery
Experience
- Implemented and managed a corporate/enterprise level with associated governance of a
MS Dynamics CRM system - gained in mid-to-large scale project implementations within corporate environments. - Deep understanding of how Dynamics CRM can be used to meet the business' needs (and when it is not appropriate).
- Project Management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Financial services/Insurance sector preferred with exposure at senior levels
