IT Project Manager

Full delivery management responsibility for multiple IT projects within a rolling portfolio, the scope of which changes according to operational needs, and will include new clinic installs, clinic upgrades, LAN installations, system migrations and integrations, application deployments

Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, including Operational Managers, Clinical Managers and IT Teams to provide quality solutions.

Responsibility for the communication of project progress to both internal customers and IT delivery teams, and the management of risk/issues throughout the project life cycle

The full set of Project Manager responsibilities:

• Working closely with internal customers from Clinical and Non-Clinical teams to translate business requirements into technical delivery work streams
• Definition and documentation of project scope, through the facilitation of Project Definition Workshops where appropriate
• Business Case production inc Benefits Forecasts Calculations
• Preparation and maintenance of full project documentation sets as appropriate to the project
• Management of Change Control processes and documentation
• Project Budget Forecasting & Control
• Benefits Realisation Tracking
• Stakeholder Management
• Change Management
• Contractor and Supplier Management
• Matrix Management of internal IT resources
• Risk and Issue Management, including escalation through appropriate process
• Project reporting as required per project
• Hands-on technical input on-site where required on a project to expedite project delivery
• Acquisition and maintenance of knowledge in applicable areas of our business model, LAN & WAN infrastructure models, Data Centre infrastructure, Systems and IT strategy necessary to ensure successful project delivery

• Ability to manage time of self and others to ensure success
• Experience in understanding a business in a short period of time
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
