My client is a world leader in scientific research technologies, with over 50,000 employees worldwide all focused on an all encompassing mission to improve the livelihoods of the greater world population. Working as a software engineer, you will be tasked with developing new products and working with Legacy products to ensure that my client can continue to offer a world leading service.

Your role will be focused on Embedded software solutions from integration with hardware to production test software to user interfaces, all employing current and innovative design methodologies- such as Scrum and Agile. You can expect your work to be quite varied and challenging, offering the best parts of working for a large, global company and the intricacies of a small and engaged development team.

To be successful with this role, your background will include the following:

• Ideally you will have knowledge of electro-mechanical products
• Knowledge of C and C++
• Working knowledge of Object Orientated Design methodologies
• Knowledge of Embedded operating systems
• Experience with UML and other documentation technologies
• Experience working to software design methodologies
