My client, a prestigious organisation based in Southampton, are currently recruiting for Senior Technical Consultant (Cloud/Virtualisation/Storage) to join their highly successful team. The IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of complex solutions working with other consultants, NOC teams and clients. You will have a consultative approach coupled with a strong technical background.

Essential Skills:

- High level of knowledge in one of the core areas below
- Private Cloud
- Server Infrastructure
- A working knowledge of virtualisation platforms such as Hyper-V and vSphere is essential if certified in VMware this will be looked on favorably.
- Experience with public and private cloud technologies, ie vCloud Director, Azure & Office 365.
- Extensive knowledge in Storage Implementations and design such as NetApp, HP (deep knowledge of standard storage concepts is key for this role)
- Network fundamentals

Desirable Skills:

- HP Servers/Blades
- Cisco
- Certifications (MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, VCP, CCNA etc.)
