Bedford, Bedfordshire/GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 + excellent benefits and overtime

A Bedford based global health service provider seek an experienced 3rd Line Support Analyst with a knowledge of some of the following: VMware, DR (Disaster Recovery), Cisco, Backup technologies, SAN, Windows Servers and Active Directory (Group Policy & Scripting). Must have strong project background and this will be reflected in your CV.

The 3rd Line Support Analyst will be responsible for providing high level 3rd Line technical support. In addition to this you will also be responsible for the implementation of various high level IT projects. Ideally you will have particular strengths in VMware/Data Centre technologies are a must, also have a grounding in Cisco technologies (Not Essential).

As the 3rd Line Support Analyst you will require the following skills:

  • Microsoft:

    • Windows Architectures.

    • Active Directory.

    • Exchange.

    • SQL.

  • VMware vSphere.

  • Fibre Channel SAN with Replication.

  • Backup, Archiving and Deduplication technologies.

  • Cisco - ideally CCNA/CCNP level (do not need to be accredited).

The desirable skills for the 3rd Line Support Analyst/Technical Data centre Engineer role are:

  • Oracle/Pillar Axiom SAN.

  • FalconStor.

  • CommVault Simpana.

  • VMware Site Recovery Manager.
