Data Analyst

Data Analyst - Up to GBP32k + Benefits - Based in central Bristol -Close to good public transport links & local shops and restaurants

Our client have an exciting new requirement for a Data Analyst to join them for a year long fixed term contract to help the team with a key project.

You will be documenting existing source systems and assist the business teams to understand the data layout better. You will identify data cleanse opportunities and enable and manage the changes appropriately and assist the team in every aspect of data migration testing. You will generate reports to enable the stakeholders to arrive at informed decisions, to be able to demonstrate the successful migration.

Skills required:

• ISTQB or ISEB Intermediate/Practitioner certification,
• Experience in Data migration processes and testing from multiple sources
• Proven background in Software projects, preferably within Financial Services
• Proven background in working on database management/support projects
• Proven background in working on data migration projects
• Strong MS Sql server (2007 - 2012 R2) experience
• Strong Data Base Design and data analysis experience
• Strong experience in report generation and presentation
• Ability to work under time-dependant pressure, proactive and self-starter
• Experience in using a software defect management tool/application
• Programming knowledge (.NET)
• Experience in requirements review/analysis
