This Design and marketing agency are looking for someone to join their creative team, working with the Creative Director to develop bold and innovative designs for a broad range of projects.

You will need to be able to grasp their clients' needs quickly, and work closely with their design, marketing and digital teams to translate marketing and brand briefs into designs that render beautifully in print and code.

You will have a strong digital background and experience designing for a range of web and mobile devices and be able to lead both the internal studio and their clients on UX and UI best practice. You'll also have an excellent working knowledge of print and moving image processes/applications and enjoy working with these mediums.

It's important that you can articulate your ideas clearly and that you have the digital literacy to communicate effectively with developers.

Day-to-day tasks are likely to include:

- Proactively finding out about project requirements (taking a 'brief') and making sure you fully understand the brief.
- Estimating the time the project will require, so your PM or account director can put together a profitable cost calculation.
- Coming up with design concepts that fit a client's needs.
- Presenting options for design treatments and approaches.
- Creating final designs, working with one eye firmly on deadline, allocated times and budgets.
- Amending designs according to client feedback and comments, sometimes this requires some creative interpretation.
- Preparing designs to be sent to print or be deployed digitally.

- Run creative sessions and project kick-offs.
- Lead on UX and UI within the business.
- Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion.
- Work with internal teams to generate ideas for pitching and proposals.
- Provide quality control for concepts and projects.
- Strong computer and IT skills, particularly in Adobe CC.
- Possess expert understanding of multimedia design.
- Experience building files for both print and digital.
- Be passionate about graphics and typography, new developments in design software and current trends and techniques.
- The ability to grasp clients' needs and consider practical solutions.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Financial/business acuity.
- Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
- A matter-of-fact approach when ideas or designs are rejected.
