Java Developer

An international organisation requires a Java Developer to join its small development team working on its unique web application that is used globally.

The successful Java Developer will join at an exciting time for business as they target significant expansion over a short term period.

As Java Developer working in an Agile team environment, you will implementing Web Services and designing, developing, implementing and testing new functionality primarily on the Back End.

The Java Developer will have the following skills and experience in most of the following:

  • Commercial Java Development.
  • Java frameworks to include Spring and Hibernate (Advantageous)
  • Java Development on Linux (Desirable)
  • Eclipse
  • SVN or similar source control tools.
  • Experience of working in an Agile team environment.
  • Understanding of the full design process.
  • OOP and design patterns.
  • Web Services and SQL.
  • Exposure to C++ Development on Windows(Advantageous)
  • Azure or AWS - (advantageous).
  • Cloud Hosting experience.
  • Experience of mentoring or guiding junior developers.
