Description

Our West Yorkshire based client requires a Head of Quality (Testing) to define their testing and quality assurance strategy, whilst implementing processes and governance to deliver a best in class capability. Working with 3rd party providers, you will be required to review the current testing capabilities that exist and be responsible for the strategy and testing across Systems Testing, SIT, Regression, OAT and UAT.

Profile

To be considered for the Head of Quality (Testing) role, you will need to demonstrate:

• Proven track record operating as a QA Manager/Head of Quality Assurance with demonstrable people management and leadership experience

• Experience of both SMEs and medium size corporate businesses

• Experience of defining and implementing testing strategies and governance

• Strong supplier relationship management skills with experience of working in partnership with 3rd party service providers

• Strong knowledge of risk based testing

• Experience of post merger integration would be hugely advantageous

• Experience of working in financial services, retail or E-commerce sectors

• Experience of Agile, TDD or Continuous Integration would be beneficial

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver in a business undergoing complex change ISEB certification

• Ability to manage remote teams and a willingness to travel when required
