Service Manager - The Person
They are looking for a dynamic and exceptional individual to proactively manage the Service team at their fast paced, award winning dealership.
First and foremost you will be delivering measurable excellent customer service to their customers but you will also:
• Have technical knowledge of vehicles and the support functions
• Have strong management and leadership skills
• Be highly organised with attention to detail
• Fully understand how to deliver an ‘end to end’ service to customers
• Be a proactive team player
• Be enthusiastic and results driven
• Have a desire to succeed and meet and exceed their expectations
• Be fully computer literate with experience of dealership systems
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for ensuring customer’s cars are serviced and repaired to the highest possible standards. This role requires a great deal of product knowledge, good communications, selling and customer service skills.
You will be required to maximise profit per customer visit by professionally promoting products and explaining the value of additional work to customers. Therefore, you will need to be an excellent communicator and be able to generate the required sales and profits while maintaining the bond of trust with customers.
Previous experience in a Service Manager or similar role within the motor trade is essential and a business, sales or marketing related qualification will be an asset.
