Store Managers / Designate Store Managers / Assistant Managers required by successful and expanding retailer in the cycle industry in the London area.
My client is the UK’s leading quality cycle retailer continuing to expand stores and stand for growth and development of their valued staff. You will be working for a retailer that seeks to share the passion of cycling to a broad customer base whether young and old, from first timers to steely commuters, mud lovers and seasoned racers.
My client has built a strong reputation for customer satisfaction through their brand and are keen to consider applicants who can help make a difference to customers by sharing their passion, expert knowledge and advice.
You will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of either new or existing stores within the M25, using your team to complete daily and weekly tasks. The Store Manager and Assistant Manager will be managing a team of dedicated staff and as such will need to understand the products and the industry in depth. Each store is assessed on its performance through sales, profit and KPI’s.
Management or supervisory experience is a must have on any suitable C.V. along with ideally experience in a cycle retailer. An interest in cycling is a must have.

Duties and Responsibilities
Leading the sales floor to achieve sales targets
Maximising Gross Profit
Minimising shrinkage
Maintaining KPIs:
Sales
Visual merchandising
Health and safety
Stock replenishment
New business development
Stock keeping
Order management
Development of staff
Management of the workshop
Communication point for HO and store staff
Administration
Cash handling
Motivating the staff
Communicating new initiatives to the store staff
Other ad-hoc tasks as required
Hours of work
40 Hours per week, this will include both weekdays and weekend work.
You will be managing a team of between 8 and 30 staff including part timers, depending on the store location.
Salaries offered for these roles will be from £18K - £27K per annum + bonuses OTE up to approx £32K.
