HVAC Technical Sales Engineer

In order to expand its established air quality solutions business our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Engineer to develop new sales leads.

Our client based in the Reading area is a respected provider of a range of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning solutions selling to clients in a wide range of organisations including commercial, healthcare and local authority environments.  They are looking to a recruit a focussed and driven HVAC Technical Sales Engineer to seek out new leads and to develop the existing database of clients.

The aim of this new role is to bring in and develop new sales leads for the Air Conditioning department.

Key responsibilities

• Selling Air Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation equipment and services
• Interpreting customer requirements in order to provide detailed quotations
• Provide estimates which include associated electrical and mechanical work
• Prepare professional and accurate quotations using Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint
• Actively prospect for new clients
• Follow up sales leads

Candidate

• HVAC experience on a wide range of equipment
• Experience of working with large organisations and facilities management companies
• Experience of dealing with smaller organisations with lower scale requirements
• Good communication and influencing skills
• Good written skills to ensure information provided is accurate and well presented
• Computer literate
• Experience of working in a technical sales environment
