services range from traditional print through to advanced marketing solutions for customers across a variety of sectors. Our manufacturing
site is in Stockton-on-Tees and due to recent acquisition and organic growth we are looking to fill the following vacancies in a fast paced,
bespoke manufacturing environment:
Production Manager (working a double day shift across a 24/5 operation)
The role of the Production Manager is to book in, plan, schedule and manage the jobs through production to ensure delivery deadlines are met using the most cost effective production route.
This is a fast paced, bespoke manufacturing environment which makes this a challenging role to ensure we meet our customer SLAs and deadlines.
Job Profile
Reviewing production processes at the time of the job being booked in and chose the most cost effective production route, whilst still maintaining the delivery date
Planning jobs across all production processes
Monitoring jobs through production and rescheduling to meet customer SLAs and deadlines
Ordering materials
Liaising with sales, supervisors, warehouse and technical departments
Project Planning
Key Skills
Preferably previous experience of working in a Print/Bindery Role
Must be highly organised, structured and flexible. Lateral thinker, able to multi task
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst keeping a calm, level-headed approach
Good decision making skills
Leadership and motivational and team working abilities
Good spoken and written communication skills along with strong IT Skills – word, excel, bespoke MIS
Able to construct and manage project plans for large/complicated jobs
