Assessor to support Apprentice Business admin /office services and ICT

Qualified and experienced assessors welcome to apply. However you must be able to demonstrate an exceptionally high quality in your previous delivery with supportive references.

Do you have previous experience in a school or business / admin office management or ICT role.

Would, you could work to help young adults succeed in a quality, supportive environment?

Do you know your way around a computer and internet? We use a “one file” E portfolio system for uploading and managing and monitoring learners work.

“We may have just the job role for you, wanted asap”.

We are ApprenticeshipsRus and in Partnership with Runshaw College and we manage the recruitment of apprenticeships into Lancashire Schools. One of the roles we deliver are apprenticeships within Business Admin and ICT framework, but across Nursery, Primary, Specialist, Secondary Schools and Academies across the County.

Due to increased demand for our type of quality service in this BA/ICT area we are looking to bring additional assessors into the team. We anticipate workloads up to 20 learners per assessor to ensure we deliver and maintain a higher quality service. So if you are seeking a full time role with caseloads of 40/50+ we are not the apprenticeship provider for you.

Each learner equates to about 1/2 a day’s work per month, so 2/3 learners = 1 day, You would.

Qualified assessors more than welcome to apply and IV or EV experience and qualifications would be an added bonus. But for the right person we may be willing to support you to gain your assessor qualification when you start.

This would suit someone experienced in the Assessor role in the past, looking for a part time job role which gives an opportunity to pass on their expertise and knowledge, its ideal for applicants currently in the role who are looking to reduce their days in work, alter their lifestyle or equally applicants who have recently retired, and we would value you, and your knowledge and experience.

Please send an up to date CV describing the qualifications and types of roles you’ve had (we may find other areas you are able to support apprenticeships in by seeing your various occupation’s) and please include in a cover letter the answers to the following questions.

1) What do you have to offer young people undertaking an apprenticeship?

2) What direct experience do you have as an assessor or your experience of working in school office environment?

3) Tell us about something you are proud of achieving?

4) Why do you think apprenticeships a good route to employment and qualifications?

5) What are most important assessment behaviours in supporting learners to meet timely completions?

We look forward to hearing from you and if successful in your application you will be joining a very experienced committed group, currently, of 6 other freelance assessors in delivering apprentices to young people in Lancashire Schools and business.
