We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for our leading client in the Technology Industry. This is a permanent position in Glasgow with a salary of £30,000 - £45,000 depending upon experience.
Role and Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain major software components for embedded and portable products
Use Agile methodology to develop products
Produce clear and concise detailed design specifications
Find ways of improving systems and processes
Work effectively within a multicultural team
The successful candidate for the Embedded Software Engineer role will have
BEng in Electronics, Computing or related subject
Strong C/C++ programming experience
Familiarity with TCP/IP
Unix/Linux experience
It is desirable that the Embedded Software Engineer is familiar with embedded hardware design, network protocols (ZigBee and CAN), HTML5, Java and JavaScript, SQL and a working knowledge of Jira.
