Android Developer (£25,000-£30,000 per annum + 22 days holiday + bonus scheme + training) is urgently needed for an award winning mobile app development agency based in Redditch, Worcestershire.
If you are a Junior Android Developer looking to grow within a fast paced, dynamic and energetic company, then this is the perfect role for you! Working within the app development team, you will work on Android app development projects for some of the UK's leading business and international brands. Working on both phone and Tablet projects, you will be skilled in Java and have a passion for mobile development
With the ability to work independently, the ideal Android Developer will have experience in a similar role or at least developed some of their own Android apps. You must be able to handle a fast turnaround in a busy working environment, possess good communication skills and have a keen eye for detail. Other attributes include;
- Excellent working knowledge of Java and Android development frameworks. Any experience of iOS or other platforms would be advantageous, although not required.
- You will be a motivated individual able to work on and complete projects
- Ability to develop mobile apps from wire frames and work the development team on UX and UI
- Ability to work on a vast range of projects and understand the importance of project deadlines
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with great accuracy and attention to detail
- Must possess a creative flair, with excellent communication skills and passion for mobile
The ideal Android Developer will be educated to Degree level (Development/ Computer science relevant) as well as;
- Proficient in Android development
- Excellent IT skills and experience of multiple platforms is beneficial
- An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
- Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
- Must have completed and published at least two projects for Native Android or Web (HTML5/JavaScript/CSS)
- Experience of working with as many of the following tools and technologies as possible; Android, XCode, Eclipse, Objective-C, Java, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PhoneGap
- Experience with any of the following will be advantageous; IOS, APS.net Windows Phone, Ruby, Sencha, CodeIgniter, LAMP
