National Contracts Manager

Hibberd Distribution Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a National Contracts Manager to join their team based in Blackpool. They are offering a competitive salary of £25k per annum + commission.

Who are we ?

We are a leading and well established Kitchen & Appliance Distributor based near Blackpool Airport. We sell to over 1,000 Kitchen Retailers & House Builders in the North of England. Our custom built distribution centre offers a modern and friendly working environment.

Who are we looking for in our National Contracts Manager  ?

- We are looking for a confident sales person living within the North West. The role will involve both account development with an existing portfolio of clients and proactive new business acquisition. Previous experience of dealing with house builders / developers & the contract sector is essential.

- Able to work independently, prioritise and manage their own workload, the candidate must be self-motivated and have good time management. A personable and confident character is essential qualities for the role.

- Presentation and IT skills especially in Excel, Word & Outlook are preferred.

What’s the National Contracts Manager  Package ?

As a Contracts Manager you will receive a starting pay of £25k, plus a Monthly commission. Also a profit related Annual bonus.

Hours of work 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (No weekends)

The current holiday entitlement is 5.6wks in each twelve-month period including Statutory Bank Holidays. You will also be required to retain 3-5 days holiday to be taken over the Christmas and New Year period.

Responsibilities as our National Contracts Manager  

- Managing & maintaining the current customer base.

- Prospecting for new accounts

- Assisting customers in product choice, introducing new products & dealing with technical issues.

- Raising Quotations & completing tenders

- Ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary

- Dealing with Health & Safety requirements for Building sites and completing method statements.
