Collections Advisor/Arrears Executive

We are currently recruiting numerous recoveries / collections advisors for well known financial companies in and around the Cardiff and Newport areas.

You will join established teams of collections advisors, within the arrears management department. As part of the team, you will quickly become an integral part of the business, and put into practice your previous collections experience.

A good working knowledge of collections would be a distinct advantage (financial, legal or utilities background) and an understanding of financial services is essential.

Applicants should also be customer focused and target driven with excellent negotiation and persuasion skills and be comfortable working within a heavily regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• To work through a queue of collections cases which will involve every stage of arrears / litigation
• To make outbound and receive inbound calls from clients unable or unwilling to maintain payments
• Negotiating payment plans to match client budgets and company requirements
• Recording all information accurately and completely
• Working within agreed SLAs and to challenging targets
• Working within all company guidelines and with 100% adherence to FSA guidelines

Working hours: Full time shifts between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday. Occasional weekends on a rota basis may be required
