Kernow Ed is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors for regular work in the West Cornwall area and Truro areas for immediate starts. We are looking for Cover Supervisors to cover day-to-day, long term and possible permanent positions

The role will require the applicant to deliver planned work in a variety of subjects across ks3 & 4, it is important the candidate has excellent classroom management skills and positive strategies to keep pupils on tasks. 

This role would suit both candidates that have experience of working with large groups of young people in a teaching , training or support capacity, Ideally you will be educated to degree level however at least a minimum level 3 qualification in Teaching and learning. It is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for first-hand classroom experience. It is an excellent opportunity for those seeking to further their career within the education sector. Candidates that hold qualifications such as HLTA Status, PTTLS, DTTLS CTTLS, Cert Ed, PGCE FE alongside their degree will be considered.

Must have a minimum of a level 3 qualification

Must have experience of teaching, supporting or training large groups
Have strong behavioural and communicative skills 
Must be flexible
