My client is an dynamic & expanding Telecoms organisation in Basingstoke who are looking for an experienced Data Analysis to work within their billings team. This exciting role will involve analysing, creating and manipulating data reports for all client billing, commissions, sales figures and tariffs across the business. This new role has come about due to expansion as my client is a £25m turnover organisation, who are set to double in size within the next 2 years. Therefore progression is assured if you are a driven and determined individual who wants to grow your career.
Working in a small Billings team as a Data/Billing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in creating reports and interpreting data; reporting into the Operations Manager you will work closely with the management team in providing information and data as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Collation and analysis of daily billing statistics
• Reconciling supplier invoices against service billing
• Review of customer invoices and resolution of billing queries
• Creation of bespoke reports for use across the business via Excel
• Creation of new tariffs and management of existing tariffs from the commercial team

Person specification
This exciting role will suit someone who is highly analytical, having worked in a similar role in the past

• Proven experience in manipulating and interpreting large quantities of data on excel
• You must demonstrate drive and passion at interview together with an enthusiastic, friendly personality
• You must have a good telephone manner with strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to communicate with customers about their accounts to resolve any billing queries
• Advanced Excel - ideally having pivot table/vlookups experience (although there will be training to upskill on this if required)
• You must have a strong character, able to work in a fast-paced team under pressure
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Must enjoy a team based environment with a bit of banter

A Telecoms background is not essential, however will be looking for a strong background in data or billing analysis or similar within any sector.  As long as you can demonstrate this alongside having drive, passion and determination to learn and progress, we will be interested in speaking to you.
