AGP Chartered Accountants are a well established independent Accountancy firm with offices across Cheshire. We are looking to recruit an experienced part-time Payroll Administrator at our office at Sutton Quays, Runcorn to work 25 hours per week (five hours per day Monday to Friday with start/finish times negotiable). The role offers a competitive salary and is an opportunity to join a friendly team in a busy and growing payroll department.

Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Production of weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish including new starters, leavers, statutory payments, P45s
  • RTI Submissions
  • Dealing with HMRC queries/ Ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Responding to client queries regarding payroll
  • Providing advice and responding to enquiries in relation to pay, tax and NIC from employees

Qualities required:

  • Experience in Payroll administration essential
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Experience of auto-enrolment an advantage
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
  • Excellent communication skills
