PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
A vacancy has arisen for a Payroll Administrator based at our Head Office in Bothwell Road, Hamilton.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the accurate and effective administration, processing and payment of the Motor Group payroll, including such tasks as:
• Setting up and updating employee records including the timely update of tax codes;
• Recording attendance and ensuring absences are appropriately recorded and supported;
• Ensuring payroll is processed and BACS files are transmitted on a timely basis;
• Submission of monthly and year end statutory returns accurately and in compliance with requirements;
• Timely payment of PAYE and NIC;
• Completion of pension assessment and payment of
pension deductions.
Applicants should have relevant experience in a large company payroll environment, be proficient in MS Office applications and have excellent communication skills. Knowledge of the motor trade would be advantageous but is not essential.
