Full time 40 hours - Large Private Day Nursery Durham

We are recruiting for an Early Years Manager for our highly successful nursery.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated practitioner to promote inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending and to maintain a safe, enjoyable and stimulating environment. You will have overall responsibility for the safety and welfare of the children, staff supervision and professional development and the continued commercial success of the nursery.

Essential Criteria:

- EYPS preferred but a Level 3 practitioner with previous senior / management experience would be considered.
- A sound understanding of the EYFS with an ability to plan and implement an early years curriculum, taking into account statutory requirements including child protection, safeguarding, the SEN Code of Practice, and equal opportunities.
- You need to be a good communicator both written and verbal, possess excellent organisational skills and be able to build strong relationships with parents, children, staff and visitors.
- Pro-active, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Experience of working with multi agencies.

Our company takes safeguarding very seriously and as such an Enhanced DBS will be required for this role.
