We are currently working with a primary school in the Preston area who is seeking a talented primary teaching assistant for an SEN Teaching Assistant Job in Penwortham. They have opened the application process to all primary teaching assistants who are level 2 or above as they have a position within KS1.

The Job:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Primary Teaching assistant with a level 2 or above qualification who:
-Has previous experience with working one on one with pupils
-demonstrate high standards of classroom practice
-understanding of a range of assessment for learning strategies
-Strong Numeracy and Literacy skills, specialists in these areas will be of interest
-Provides engaging and creative lessons which will encourage learning and development
-Previous SEN experience ? Preferably Autism

The Child:
The successful applicant for the SEN Teaching Assistant Job in Penwortham will be required to work one to one with a pupil who is quite high up on the autism spectrum 5 days a week.
