Outstanding opportunity for motivated, proactive individual to join one of the UK’s leading private healthcare organisations.

Our client, a thriving, privately run, Nottingham-based acute healthcare facility, is currently seeking a Group Patient Safety, Quality and Risk Systems Lead and Analyst to work as part of the Quality Safety & Risk Team, supporting the achievement of key performance and quality objectives through the provision of operational, management, and strategic information reports.

The post-holder will assume wide-ranging responsibilities, to include…

-proactively initiating information analyses including forecasting, trend analysis and modelling

-recommending information reports and analysis and advising on information for performance/business planning and operational management of services

-supporting the Head of Risk and Assurance to fulfil legislative and mandatory compliance with internal and external standards

-provision of informatics expertise to the organisation in bespoke analysis and establishment of new information requirements to support the quality/safety agenda.

-providing systems management and training for the Datix, Health Assure, Abriska, CALMS and other systems, ensuring there is appropriate analysis and presentation of patient safety/risk management/revalidation information and trend data to support all requirements.

Applicants should be communicative, forward-thinking individuals with a degree or equivalent in a statistical or information related subject, or equivalent commensurate work experience. Previous experience in IT training is essential, as are a formal IT qualification and knowledge and experience of packages such as Datix and Assurance software.

Furthermore, applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive experience of databases and other PC tools, with the ability to manipulate, analyse and present information, in particular in MS Excel and Access.
