Job Elements: -

• Working 25 hours per week
• To provide support to the Company Human Resources Department.
• Provide generalist assistance within the HR department which will include administrative tasks, project work, attendance at meetings and production of various correspondence.
• The role will include processing employee data and providing key information on HR processes to support team managers throughout the business.
• Developing administrative processes and systems further including the management of employee data systems.
• Taking a pro-active approach to the storage, management and availability of all human resources information.
• Support various HR processes including employee file audits, maternity and paternity leave arrangements, probation monitoring.
• Coordinating applications, short-listing, interview panels, liaising with hiring managers and contacting candidates.
• Undertake duties supporting the recruitment, selection and appointment process, ensuring all regulatory and legal requirements are met
• Support the HR Manager in the delivery of statistical information and record keeping.
• Administrative support to the HR function including word processing, taking and producing minutes, producing new template letters and reviewing and update of existing letters.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience of working within a Human Resources function/department is essential for the role.
• Any relevant Human Resources courses or qualifications (part qualified or qualified) are desirable.
• The post holder will be expected to maintain their CPD and undertake training/qualifications commensurate with progression.
• CPP qualification or a willingness to work towards is essential.
• Must have a minimum of GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent). Conversant with Ms Office, in particular the ability to draft letters and take minutes. A good typing speed will be beneficial.
• Enthusiastic, hard-working and a willingness to learn and develop. Flexible approach to working. Good attendance record in previous employment.
