Our client is one of the leading designers and manufaturers of lifting and material handing solutions across the globe. They currently have an opportunity to join their successful manufacturing division as a manufacturing engineer.
The main responsibilities of the role are;
- Liaise with design engineering teams to review the manufacturability of new products
- Support the transitioning of new products into manufacturing
- Plan, Design, Setup, Modify and Continuously Improve manufacturing processes
- Respond to daily manufacturing issues and requirements
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with requirements
The successful candidate will possess;
- An engineering background with a mechanical/ electrical/ production background
- Experience wthin a lean manufacturing environment
- Experience in an Assembly environment
- Experienced within Contionous improvement
