Class 2 HGV 2 LGV C Driver Temporary to Permanent

My client, the UK's largest supplier to the independent kitchen specialist sector, are looking for experienced Class 2 HGV 2 LGV C drivers to undertake nationwide trunk runs out of their busy depot in Bolton, Lancashire. These positions are temporary to permanent.

Class 2 HGV 2 LGV C drivers are to start at 6am and are expected to do up to three overnights per week within their standard working week of Monday to Friday. Overnights are paid for at a rate of £22 per night out and any expenses for parking are reimbursed in full.

All Class 2 HGV 2 LGV C drivers will be provided with a standard company uniform for all weather which also includes safety boots and a branded hi-vis vest.

The runs consist of long distance trunks to kitchen retailers based throughout the North of England, up to Scotland or Wales.

The standard working week comprises of Monday to Friday and 47.5 contracted hours. If drivers work over their contracted hours they are paid time and a half and if they are to work on a Saturday or Sunday a premium rate is paid for this. Upon completing 13 weeks work for Darren Bell Recruitment at this client, the client will then offer successful Class 2 HGV 2 LGV C drivers a permanent role within their company.
