Maintenance Engineer

Get the rewards your efforts deserve with a good salary and high overtime potential, whilst working on interesting and varied equipment. THE ROLE * PPM's * Electrical and mechanical fault finding * General machine maintenance * 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern

* Maintenance of DC motors and associated drives.
* Maintenance of process control equipment.
* Electrical installations and/or mechanical installation work.
* Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance systems (mechanical and electrical).
* Breakdown maintenance involving faultfinding on industrial and process control systems and carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs on PVCu extrusion plant and equipment.
Liaison with contractors and suppliers.
* Ordering of new/replacement equipment.
* Issuing of work permits.

Education/Qualifications

Good level of numeric and literacy skills
Recognised electrical/mechanical maintenance apprenticeship/training scheme
C&G 236 Electrical Installation Parts 1&2 or equivalent multi skill training.

Involves travel across multi-sites in Alfreton (vehicle provided)
