This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior lettings professional to join one of Derby's most respected 'up and coming' letting agencies. Formed only 3 years ago, our client has gone from strength to strength ever since - with a key focus on providing quality private accommodation for students studying at the University of Derby or the Royal Derby Hospital Medical School. Together with this, our client also offers quality accommodation to professional tenants ranging from Rolls-Royce sharers to families.

The portfolio of properties is growing fast, and the prospects for the future are exciting so they are now looking to expand their team.

The main responsibilities of the post-holder will be to take on the core day-to-day running of the department ranging from the property maintenance to the letting and marketing of properties and to over-see that this is done well. Initially it will at be for a period of at least 10 months while the current Lettings Manager is on maternity leave, and a shared responsibility for the day-to-day running after that period. This is a very personal and individual role in which you will get to know each of your tenants and landlords and you will have the same ethos of delivering a high quality service at every available opportunity.

Our client is able to offer an excellent remuneration package in return, with company pension scheme, generous holiday entitlement and travel allowance, excellent basic salary plus commission structure, and flexibility to make the role your own and develop your skills.

This would ideally suit someone with very good experience and knowledge of lettings in general, and in particular of how the student letting market works. The candidate must have a very good understanding of the legal aspects of lettings in order to help advise landlords, and top-up training will also be available where required. A Level 3 Award in Residential Letting & Management would be desirable.

Above all our client is looking for someone honest, hardworking, flexible and with the same passion for furthering their career as making their mark on this dynamic young company at a pivotal time when it continues to establish its reputation with pride.

Please call us for our client's direct contact information if you want further details.

The starting date for the job will be 1st April 2015 and the successful applicant will be prepared to undertake a CRB check. Car essential.
