Part Time Sales Colleagues

Bonmarche is the UK's largest womenswear value retailer providing fashionable, quality clothing with appropriate fit and styling for the over 50's. We are an ambitious fashion brand and looking to recruit a team of Part Time Sales Colleagues with a passion for fashion to join the Bonmarche family for a brand new concession store opening near Truro, Cornwall in early 2015.

We are looking to recruit up to 5 new Part Time Sales Colleagues initially on a 4 hour a week contract but depending on the needs of the business we can potentially offer more hours.

If successful you will be joining a retail fashion business with over 280 stores and an ambitious expansion programme. We are possibly Britain's best kept High Street secret and recently won "Fashion Retail Business of the Year" at the recent Drapers Awards. Our like for like sales rose 10.4% in the last financial year and also recorded an online sales growth of 84.2%. We are a modern, innovative company that genuinely puts our people and customers are at the heart of everything we do.

As our Part Time Sales Colleagues you will proactively encourage sales by delivering excellent customer service and creating a culture which puts the customer first. You will be a team player and ensure the highest retail standards and visual merchandising standards are maintained throughout the store. We also encourage you to aim higher with great opportunities to develop and progress further.

We are keen to hear from Part Time Sales Colleagues who can demonstrate the following:

- Passionate about customer service and putting our customer first

- Confident to approach our customers and communicate our fantastic products and promotions

- Friendly, honest, trustworthy with a flexible approach to suit the store operations

- Strong organisational skills so you can complete all tasks set on time

Previous experience as a sales colleague, sales assistant or sales advisor in a retail clothing environment or customer focused environments would be desirable along with knowledge of till operations, cash handling procedures, merchandising and stock management. We also welcome applications from students. It is essential that you are passionate about customer service and will always put the customer first.
