Senior Residential Support Worker Hereford

The successful candidate for the role of Senior Residential Support Worker will have:
Ability and willingness to work a shift rota including sleeping in duties.
The ability to keep calm under pressure.
Experience to work alone and as part of a team.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with colleagues and children and young people in a clear and professional manner maintaining the rules of confidentiality as appropriate.
Ability to create and maintain a warm, nurturing and homely living environment and to contribute and take part in the day-to day running of the home.
The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.
To develop and maintain professional relationships with, children & young people looked after at the home, families and team members.

Qualifications and experience
Completed Certificate/Diploma Level 3 in Children and young people in the work force.
Working towards or Completed NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care.
Working towards or completed NVQ Level 4 Leadership and Management qualification.
A minimum of 3 - 5 of residential care experience essential with children and young people.

It is essential you hold:
A full UK Driving Licence

The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS disclosure (formerly known as CRB) as part of the vetting and barring process and two references.
