A market leading travel technology provider. As a member of our clients award winning support team you will be responsible for supporting our cleints, client base in the UK, Europe and beyond. You will be required to investigate technical issues across our entire product suite while keeping the client updated with progress and ensuring the 3rd line teams have all the information they require to be able to develop a fix if required. You will also be required to aid the project delivery team in reviewing new features and functionality before they are deployed to ensure that they are fit for purpose and supportable.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Essential:

• A 2:2 or above in an Software Development related discipline

• Have an excellent understanding of enterprise web applications including web client, web service, and database systems

• Proven understanding of XML, Java and common database technologies

• Proven technical investigation and problem solving ability

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients with technical issues they experience across the full product set.

• Aid in the diagnosis of client issues with the development and operational teams

• Investigate issues logged against product set

• Update clients with progress of their issues through the development cycle

• Setup new clients on the clients systems

• Review new features before go-live, providing final sign off to ensure that new developments are fit for purpose and supportable.

• Ensure internal and external knowledge bases area kept up to date with the latest information.

• Aid in the deployment of new software to the test and production environments

• Participate in regular service review meetings with large clients ensuring their needs are fulfilled

• Suggest improvements to process and technology to ensure that the team is prepared for future developments.

• Aid in the delivery of internal and externally lead projects
