Infrastructure Project Manager

My client, a key player within the Investment Banking industry, is looking to expand its Infrastructure team with the appointment of a Project Manager. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to join an exceptional team that has proven itself in the last few years as an industry leading force. They are currently two years into a large scale investment program and the successful candidate will be involved in a variety of business facing projects focused on operational, functional and business change programmes. As these programmes progress you will have considerable influence over major infrastructure decisions, including whether to swap vendor sources or bring services in house. The responsibility offered to you is unrivalled in the industry and you can expect to progress quickly from this position.

The current team interacts frequently with outsourced teams, and the successful candidate will have previous experience of managing these relationships. My client use vendors for all their engineering and implementation so this experience is a necessity. The team are leading the industry and a prior experience of infrastructure will be required to hit the ground running and keep up their momentum. The successful candidate will have:

- Prior experience of working with outsourced Vendors

- History of working with IS infrastructure delivery

- Solid Project Management experience

- Understand the infrastructure project life cycle

- Experience of Data Centre migrations, technology re-platforming or technology upgrade projects
