Networks Team Manager

I am currently looking for a Networks Team Manager to join a large financial organisation based in Stirling. This role will oversee the day to day supervision of the team responsible for the management and maintenance of the internally supported elements of the company's network infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:
*Ensuring good performance of Internal Networks team members using the company's performance management process
*Ensure that Service Level Agreements are achieved and that all systems remain fully operational.
*Produce and maintain documentation relating to network systems
*Maintain technical knowledge and be seen as an expert in the networks arena
*Provide input into and produce where necessary, project plans for business driven projects
*Identify and drive out process improvement activities

Knowledge and skills required:
*Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, WAN, OSPF, BGP, HSRP, VRRP, VTP, STP etc
*Excellent Cisco IOS administration & troubleshooting skills on LAN & WAN equipment
*Excellent knowledge of the following network support tools:
SolarWinds NPM with Netflow
Statseeker
OPNET
*Excellent knowledge of Checkpoint Firewall systems on SPLAT, NOKIA, and VSX platforms.
*Excellent knowledge of BlueCoat Proxy and AntiVirus Solutions
*Excellent knowledge of the Alteon Load Balancing suite of products including SSL acceleration
*Excellent knowledge of the Avaya VOIP suite of products
