Systems Architect

Badenoch & Clark are currently working with a global organisation who are looking to recruit a Systems Architect to join their team. This is a vital role within the IT team as a whole and requires someone at a senior level who is comfortable dealing with Product Managers and clients alike.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

- Work with Product Management to clearly understand the customer and stakeholder needs
- Define and propose innovative technical solutions and architectures meeting customer needs
- Assess technical and technology choices to ensure the most balanced solution
- Ensure adequate re-use on a product line basis
- Collaborate with Security Engineering to understand security needs and requirements
- Collaborate with Software and Hardware Architects to elaborate and flow down requirements
- Maintain Solution and Product integrity and coherence during development
- Develop and enhance your engineering and interpersonal skills and capabilities
- Develop strong domain knowledge in the products and core technical competencies
- Support the development of consistent, effective and pragmatic processes and working practices

- Solution and product partitioning
- Cloud knowledge
- Model-based System Architecture
- Information security principles
- Able to achieve at least Baseline Security Clearance

- Knowledge of architectural frameworks - eg TOGAF
- Requirements management and development

- Network, frame and point to point encryption
- Database encryption
