The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the testing of a major delivered project, to ensure that the testing is carried out to the test team standard operating procedures and business defined standards.

Test Team Leader Responsibilities:

. Support all aspects of test activities and deliverables for a number of Projects or Major release
. Ensure the Test Plan and Testing documentation & deliverables have been created and adheres to testing governance.
. Take on Test Analyst, Test Project Lead or Test Management duties if necessary
. Act as point of contact for all major test project issues when required
. Runs test team meetings
. Responsibility for the implementation of initiatives and improvements
. Line management responsibilities including training and mentoring Test Project Leads, Test Analysts and business testers
. Assisting co-ordination with major releases at key stages

Test Team lead experience/skills:

. Proven track record as a Senior Test analyst/Test Lead with ability to manage a small testingT team
. Experience of Agile Methodologies - Essential
. Experience of managing teams and Line Management experience is essential
. Negotiation, presentation & relationship management skills
. A good knowledge of Test Tools and effective techniques for their use
. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong influencing skills
. Capable of developing a good working relationship with all areas of the business
