We are looking for a Work Smart Administrator (Administrative Specialist) for our client, an IT Services organisation who are thought leaders in Infrastructure Services, Workspace, Connectivity and Consulting. Part of a Global organisation they have both and impressive client list and growth strategy.
Sopra Steria are migrating the client's desktop computing estate from Microsoft Windows XP to Microsoft Windows 7. The work is called WorkSmart and is managed by a team of Programme and Project Managers, supported by a team of build engineers, installation engineers, and administration staff, collectively called the WorkSmart Team.
This requirement is for a WorkSmart Administrator. The Administrator will be required to collate, analyse, report and manage several sets of data to ensure the migration to MS Windows 7 can take place timeously and accurately.
It is the primary duty of the client's Administrator to ensure an accurate record is kept of the location of each computer asset, from supplier delivery right through to installation on the end-user desk and for the disposal or redeployment of old assets.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Ensure Build and Installation Engineers have arrived
- Arrange replacement engineers if necessary (liaise with client's PM)
- Print and distribute work sheets (8) to each Installation Engineer
- Ensure ITAM shows correct number of devices have left the store
Job role
- Work under the direction of the client's Project Manager ( client's PM )
- Work under the direction of the client's Project Manager ( client's PM )
- Take instructions from the client's Programme Manager(s) as required
- Take instructions from Sopra Steria senior management team as required
- Take instructions from WorkSmart Administrators as required
- Provide information to, and manage information requests from the Sopra Steria Asset Management Team
- Take ownership for provision of an adequate number of installation engineers for each migration group as requested by the client's PM
- Ensure accurate records are maintained to published deadlines
