Test Manager needed, Central Bristol GBP48,000

I have a brand new role in for a Test Manager to join a exciting and growing company based in central Bristol.

Working within a Agile .NET Development environment you will be managing a Test Team that tests a variety of internal software and systems.

This is a new position for the company and is a key one in taking the Development and Test Team to the next level. Initially the role will be 80% hands on, but over time it is expected that that the leadership and strategic elements of the role will reduce this to 50%. Leading and mentoring the growing QA team and assuring Product Quality will be the initial objectives - but the incoming person will quickly want to form the team's Test Strategy and make it happen.

Key aspects of role:

• Ensuring quality software delivery across product development in both BAU and new Project work
• Raising the profile of QA within Development, as both a Testing and Quality function
• Accountable for the setting and implementation of Test Strategy, life cycle Test methodology, instigating and enforcing best practices in testing
• Recommending and adopting tools for Automated testing and Scale testing
• Line management and development of test team
• Be a member of the Development Team's Management function

They are looking for someone with at least 5 years of testing experience and at least 2 years of Test Management experience.

Salary is up to GBP48,000 dependent upon experience.
